The chefs dish up some of the tastiest cuisines in the Roaring Fork Valley. Sustainable in practice, products and ingredients are sourced from local and regional farmers, and even from Plato's very own backyard garden- because, in the end, real, fresh and simple ingredients come together to create unforgettable dishes. 

Executive Chef Jason Thompson sources the freshest products from organic farms throughout Colorado, including:

Master Class

AMFS artist-faculty, representing the best teachers and players from the world's top orchestras, opera companies, and conservatories, as well as acclaimed performers, teach exceptional students the nuances of great music-making. See it all up-close at these intensive workshops.

About the Violinist:

Augustin Hadelich has attained an international career as orchestral soloist, recitalist and chamber musician, with highly acclaimed performances in many of the world’s most prestigious venues. Astonishing audiences with his phenomenal technique and poetic sensitivity, he continues to perform with remarkable consistency throughout the repertoire, from Paganini to Adès. Hadelich has performed with every major orchestra in the United States. Worldwide engagements include the BBC Symphony in London, Danish National Symphony, Helsinki Philharmonic, London Philharmonic, Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, Netherlands Philharmonic, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, SWR Orchestra in Stuttgart, and the NHK Symphony in Tokyo, among others. Festival appearances include Aspen, Blossom, Bravo! Vail, Chautauqua, the Hollywood Bowl, Marlboro and Tanglewood. Summer 2016 marks his BBC Proms debut. Gold Medalist of the 2006 International Violin Competition of Indianapolis, Hadelich’s 2016 Grammy Award was for his recording of the Dutilleux Violin Concerto, L’arbre des songes, with the Seattle Symphony under Ludovic Morlot. He is also the recipient of the inaugural Warner Music Prize (2015). Born in Italy to German parents, Hadelich holds an Artist Diploma from The Juilliard School, and is now an American citizen. He plays on the 1723 “Ex­Kiesewetter” Stradivari violin, on loan from Clement and Karen Arrison through the Stradivari Society of Chicago.
