COMPANION CARE

 

The main objective of companion care is to provide emotional support and compassion for seniors who want to remain independent at home and maintain a healthy, active, and social lifestyle. 

The components of companion care are tailored to meet the needs of each individual. Our primary goals at this level of care are to provide ongoing emotional support and assist in improving the overall quality of life. 

Our Companion Care Professionals

We employ dedicated professionals who’s skill sets are catered to our specific services to meet the needs of your loved ones.

Below is a list of some of the ways our caregivers are trained in giving companion care:

  • Meal Preparation

  • Medication reminders 

  • Assistance with basic household tasks and pet needs

  • Engaging in conversation

  • Facilitation of hobbies and regular activities such as going for walks, gathering with friends, gardening, etc. 

  • Attending social functions 

  • Transportation and vehicle maintenance - To and from appointments, meals, etc. around the Roaring Fork Valley

  • Travel - We do not want to limit clients' lives and therefore can travel with them to help enjoy what can sometimes be a challenging experience. (Some limitations apply here - Please contact the office for more information)

  • Regular observations and continued modification to better support the client's overall health and well-being.
